131; my overseas trip (friday, 10062005)

friday, 10062005; 10:37:29pm, aboard the ktm oriental express line.

the train has just passed my home area which is somewhere west of singapore. and my parents were there waving their hands at me to show me off to malaysia at this faithful time. we were heading for the ica; immigration and checkpoints authority of singapore.

at the ica, my cousin cursed me with the fact that my old photo would not be accepted. and sickeningly his curse came true. i was given a freaking letter to change my photo. but i was going to. the fact remains that this trip was last minute; it always has been. so it aint my fault, technically. and also when i was at the ica building, i thought i was given the green light cause the officer didnt say anything. ok. i shant dwell on it so yeahhs.

feeling super uber crappish right now, with the fact that the train trip is so damn long; 12 hours. oh my god. there goes my freaking good night's sleep. sighhs. and also, the stupid tell-off from the ica officer didnt help my mood, you know? shant comment further. right now the train has come to a standstill at the johore bahru station and it is only like 10:39 pm? 2 minutes have passed and i am already ruffled. i thought it would be already midnight. sighhs.

damn, i am so pissed with myself. i brought a book and my physics homework to do. but really. i feel no mood whatsoever to be doing anything but to write. sighhs. i know that i am in a holiday and all. and that i should be smiling and shouldnt be keeping still and feeling excited. but oh wells. all that has happened right now is really getting to me. and all i feel is just doing something to distract myself.

great. there's an elderly behind me in hellish facades of trying to be a monkey. sighhs. all the raging and misread pheromones and hormones in the elderly are sure driving to be doing things way beyond recognition. like for example. kudos to my grandmother for making a fool of herself in the train. i dont know what she was intending to do. she was going to various seats which clearly didnt belong to her. i guess she was trying to liberate as many seats as possible.

the ktm train has slowed its already slow chug into the rural north-eastern side of malaysia. right now, i am being pushed to the left and to the right. damn sickening actually. but my aunt, mak yah, tells me that this is already very comfortable for a train ride. ok. i guess she must have low standards for the term 'comfortable'.

ok. thats her assumption. my idea of comfortable is totally different. LAUGHS.

xx sms-ed me just now. never thought that he would ever do that. LOL. we were crapping like hell. LAUGHS. recalling it seems so funny. he said a lot of things. but wells. i doubt that those are true. i dont think that i am even a priority in his list. and whilst i realize that he is trying to change and all but i guess i am scared that he will revert to his old self again.

oh also. xx asked me to go to queensway tomorrow. i guess he said it mistakenly. yet i was laughing like a stupid ass in the train. i dont know, maybe he forgot that i am on a holiday and all. so i promised to go with him on another day. but what am i going to wear? BINGO. get something from KL. hahas. yayy. geography elective has helped. LAUGHS.

whats the point of me being a tourist if i am not going to spend on like things asides from accommodation, food and transportation right? RIGHT!

did i told you that i love the ktm train toilets? they are so damn cool. and cute too, for that matter. they are so damn small that you must squeeze to the back of the toilet which, descriptively is the small gap between the sink and the toilet before you are capable of closing the door. according to my overly descriptive friend, big dicks are good here as they allow you to pee directly into the bowl. allow me to describe.

the tracks werent made by the best constructor or designed by the best designer. so the train tends to slam to the left and right, up and down. making you feel like somewhat a sick pepper shaker at times. but it seems that i am immune to the senses that the train brings.

rather cool actually. you would think that after all the incessant warnings by my aunt and grandmother and the conductors, one would believe that my cousin and i would sit down quietly and be good boys. but NO. we were busy exploring the other carriages, playing pranks on other sleeping passengers, running rampant back and forth.

or, if boredom is driving you insane, you could try doing something somewhat scary and outrageously freaky. in between two carriages is this small platform where the two carriages precariously joins. just stand there and see whether the hellish jolts send you temporarily into hell. if you do, you are a norm, i believe. if you dont, i shall give you my greatest and sincerest respects for being the bravest souls.

now is 11:36PM. and we just came back from eating at the train's canteen. shall attempt to sleep now!
