the holidays are coming to an end.

nationwide groans.

and i dont think that no one feels this way. seriously, it has been too short. but i wonder whether time has been tricking us in a sense. i realize how things go super slow in the beginning of the june month, whilst when it heads towards the end, it suddenly rages into one bullet determined to reach its target. in this case, its the whole ending holidays euphemia.

i wonder whether i phrased that correctly. but as of now, i am feeling a bit tetchy about some things.

reading blogs of rgs' students in a sense gives you this indepth kind of insights into the world. and whats more, those random musings that we tend to bury under the hatchet because we are afraid of opening them up to the world are often reflected in their blogs simply because their mindsets and view of the visage of the world are often more conceptualised.

quote a random blog;
it [elitism] manifests itself in many ways, running the gamut from the blatant displays to accidental slips to subtle slights.

and in here it talks about how the government propaganda the overall nation in to be doing something. lik for example, making people join and work for the science sector. but in the end, the demand is so huge and thus a fragment of them are jobless. whilst the government grows richer, its people grow poorer.

the conclusion given in this blog? that we should follow our hearts. and yes, i do support this statement.

the faith in myself to be following my heart has since been augmented, ever since reading this beautiful blog.

it seems detrimental to my mental health as to how powerful their capability in english in. and yet, vic told me that there's still bad results. oh my. if i must myself or any of my friends to take the beloved exams and pts that rgs' implements, it's either we get kicked out by the school administration for bad results, or dont have to do the paper at all, due to the fact that we would have a fainting fit even before the paper lands before us.

or wont we? it has been widely debated that rgs' a premiere girls school. and thus they have to live up to it. whilst my friends and i are enjoying the sights and sounds of the bustling orchard road, i can bet my fifty that they are at home studying and prepping for the upcoming examinations.

either way, it's both bad and good. bad because simply, whilst students from other school watch the group of refined girls in navy blue pinafores and white blouses excel and scale the heights of the academia towers, we are way behind that calibre. i have friends claiming that all this is merely seen as of the surface, and those underlining the surface is somewhat not seen. whilst maybe it's the truth, students like me and the overall majority just doesnt see it in that manner. we tend to be (no other way to put it) wells, jealous.

and yes, i do think that the jealousy is the one factor that empowers students' will to be making it into rjc. but still, how many can make it whilst others just break down and cry, not making it into a reputed institution after all the claims and images of their portrayal as a top jc.

yes, i shall stop here. i do believe i sound rather crass. things like this shouldnt cause one to be dellusionized. it's hard; considering how so many people are being dellusionized by the whole rp system. but really. all i or anyone can do now is just work hard.

i realize that we cannot be jealous. it's true that there's no point. it would just cause our judgement to be blinded by it, and that will be bad. we've got to work on it and achieve the calibre that we once could only dream of.
