today is finally the weekends. man, i've been drained from nanyang. though it has been something that i love. many commented that i'm so willing to wake up in the wee hours of the morning and travel from choa chu kang to serangoon avenue 3 everyday.

quote xinmin

"shouldn't you be willing to actually sacrifice some hours of sleep for the sake of your future?"

it was her advice that steeled myself to actually go to nanyang irregardless of the barriers of distance and time. which is good because i feel that in the working world, no one is going to be so lucky to get a job fifteen minutes from home.

it's virtually impossible.

kelvin was telling me about the huge disadvantages of my phone. i agree with him actually. firstly, my phone's file transfer capability is limited to file sizes smaller than one megabyte. this has inconvenienced me on many occasions. it prevents me from being able to receive high resolution pictures through bluetooth and that kind of stuff.

furthermore, panasonic vs6 has only thirty-two megabyte of memory which is pathetic given my sentimental behaviour of taking loads of pictures whenever i go out with friends. it's rather tiring to be worried about the fact that i cannot take enough pictures because eighty-nine percent of the phone's memory is taken up.

no offense meant to panasonic designers. it's just a viewpoint.

on kelvin and weihan's advice, i am going to change my phone to sony ericsson k800i. laughs. this is only provided that my o level results are wonderfully wonderful! only then shall i run from shuqun to the nearest m1 shop and get the phone immediately.

talk about impulsive behaviour.

then again, i realised that all my friends are not only book smarts, they have the street smarts too. true economists of society.

honestly speaking, i was totally alien to the concept of upgrading of phones until a few days ago. weihan and kelvin patiently explained the whole principle of upgrading to me, which only psyched me up to buying the new phone.

oh, and the latest nokia phone of the n series has arrived in singapore. n95. costs a thousand three hundred. it has a five megapixel camera. a tonne of memory that allows you to store about one thousand songs in the different major sound formats and is a 3.5g phone. we've escalated from 3g to 3.5g. laughs. n95 also has gps, which is like a global map and it helps those world travellors find amenities, attractions and stuff like that.

initially, i did fall in love with this phone. but it's expensive and i don't need all those functions. i just need something that can take high-resolution pictures and is also a mp3 player. that's all.

so the k800i should be more than enough. i've discovered a reliable place to print digital pictures, in the sense that it's cheap and fast, so that makes printing all the more easier and convenient for me.

i miss school already.

monday is the first rugby training for me. i don't know what to expect. at the same time, i'm excited. i want to witness what actually happens in this game. i'm getting too many false interpretations that only seek to make me feel scared.

like broken bones, and broken bones, and even more broken bones.

the mass dance of nanyang is stuck in my head. the uh! dance. it's addictive! gosh, it's either the sexy grooves or a possibility that i love dancing. now that's embarrassingly interesting. i've never really explored the possibility of engaging myself into dancing. no, nothing contemporary or tango or waltz and like. laughs. i guess hip-hop's the one that's enticing my soul.

okay okay. but seriously speaking, i want to take up something interesting and different. something outside of school. it seems rather overambitious considering the fact that i'm already busy and i'm just TRYING the pae admission to junior colleges.

seems like i'm trying to fill my empty weekend.

blog laters. shall kill enemies by playing a really old computer game called warcraft.
