NEWSFLASH!

sarah. i can't post pictures, cause it's our little secret!

that said, i'm NOT happy today, because of the nasty events that unfurled for me. i apologise in advance if my language seem crude.

some people's attitudes are disgusting seriously. you never seem to be be aware of your actions, do you? damn you, prove me wrong. you always seem to claim that you need clarification and intend to broaden your understanding of the scope of a particular subject. unfortunately, what i see is your sick efforts in trying to suck up to others or annoying those whom you're not trying to please. OR BOTH.

to a person of authority who seems to be experiencing a receding hairline, don't try to evoke past events to make a case against us. we know we did wrong. but just cause we didnt voice out what actually happen does not give you the chance to weave some intricate stories that aims at making us look like fools. we don't appreciate that.

if i recall correctly, you said i'm supposed to place myself in another's shoes. don't give me such SHIT when you don't practice what you preach.

another disgusting vermin.

*inhales

*smiles

that feels a lot better. my mom's killer fruitcake acts as another wonderful catalyst in making me happy. I'M LOVING IT!

(:

today, everyone looked pretty down and drained. i guess it was the eom deadline. everyone was groaning about how restless they felt due to an uber lack of sleep. i was no exception myself, having slept at about, four in the morning? so much for the science research that states that teenagers are supposed to have twelve hours of sleep daily.

i realised talking things out is so helpful. when we talked and realised that everyone underwent the horrible 'no-sleep' treatment, it gives us this motivational boost that tells us to strive and persevere.

oh-eight darlings! i love you people. thanks so much. my anderson experencia would be so sad and depressing without you peeps.

huiqun forced me to ask mr goh about h3 chemistry. it was hell embarrassing since i got a 'c'. mr goh said that i must obtain the following results for promos to be almost sure of a place:

chemistry: a; physics: b; mathematics: b; history: b; general paper: b.

OMIGAWD.

OMIGAWD.

it's going to be so hard. even huiqun was like reeling from that information. she intends to do h3 physics. well, we'll try our best.

i want to do PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY!

((:

going out with my baby sooooon!

i cannot wait.

HIGHLIGHT OF TODAY!

ms susan leong, principal of anderson junior college read us this article by some singaporean author. it's pretty long, so i'm just going to highlight the relevant excerpts that i intend to touch and elaborate on.

the muslims in singapore now have changed in their religious behaviour. while last time, it was customary to not serve pork or lard based dishes when muslims are present, now, that is no longer the case. muslims intend to either seat at a separate table from the chinese and indians. they also insist that their chinese and indian counterparts don't consume pork at all and that food must be certified halal.

see what i mean? SEE?!

it's really obvious how this trend has developed. last time, muslims happily mingled with other races. under the holy book, the quran, which i have to read every sunday, it states that it's crucial that muslims integrates with everyone. this is irregardless of race, religion or language. the only important thing is to ensure that a muslim doesnt consume pork as well as commits himself or herself to prayers.

hence, i don't see why i must follow what conservative individuals preach when i'm abiding by what governs my religion. if we confine ourselves that way, we're always going to be stuck in a dangerous cycle where we don't interact with other counterparts. furthermore, we're chaining ourselves to beliefs that are erected by mere individuals, and not by the true laws of the religion.

with regards to the consideration of consumerism of products only from halal-ceritifed stalls, i still find the situation rather vague.

halal is basically to certify that the stall doesnt use pork-related items and that meats are slaughtered in the islamic way. hence, if a stall doesnt sell meats and doesnt use liquor and alcohol and pig-derived products, why not?

ms leong also touched on how muslims no longer visit those of other races. simply because there're some who preach that that is what is claimed by the islamic religion. i've never seen any inscriptions in the book that states as such.

but honestly speaking, hearing ms leong highlight it was like a dream come true. it's as though i'm hearing my thoughts being verbalised by her.

then again, i shall jsut keep it to myself. lest i incur the wrath of some pious group or something.
