met jestyn just now. it's been really long since i've last met him. we had so much to catch up on.

we walked to a nearby supermarket as he needed to run some errands and we both agreed that that particular walk was so reminiscent of the past. the days we were in shuqun secondary. the times we spent at xinmin's, mugging, before going to have dinner at bukit timah. the late night cramming sessions at jestyn's. the morning walks i used to have with rachel every wednesday.

recalling the memories was a bittersweet feeling. it's nice in a sense that i'm still in contact with people like jestyn, despite the fact that graduation brought us further apart. we still go out and stuff. the downside was that, recalling times i spent during secondary school reminded me of the friends i've loved and lost. friends like xinmin, samantha and a handful of others.

it's amazing really, how one moment, you feel that that friendship will bring you cherished memories for years to come. the next moment, reality bites and you lose that friendship because of one reason or another. you learn that things is never definite, no matter how much you try to deny it.

anyway, i'm going with jes and his family to malaysia two days after christmas. yay! i've nothing much to buy, except for running shoes and some shirts. omgawds. i can't believe that i'm being pushed into getting shirts. but oh wells, we'll see. no promises that i'll flaunt them anytime soon!
