my mom wants to send me for this islamic seminar.
she sees me perma-broody when i'm at home.
testy, temperamental, always pored over books and hardly ever spiritual.
she must think i'm on the path of being a bitter atheist.
which is unfair cause it's highly inaccurate. (:
yes, i don't deny that i'm not one who's of exemplary behaviour.
i also don't deny that some living spritz could do me good.
spirit's pretty dry at the moment.

school has been pretty okay; i'm surviving, surprisingly.
i'm pretty tired.
shiv and i were talking just now about how we should do make-up sleeping.
similar to anderson jc's make up pe sessions.
i still havent gotten over the fact that research shows that teens require 12 hours of sleep.
more than 80 percent of the time, i get a third of that requirement.
no wonder saturdays are like my hibernation days! (:
but anderson's highly daunting!
i thank god for the wonderful and supportive friends that i've got.

it's becoming a habit for me to start chanting the number 3!
cause it denotes the end of syllabus.
which means that after that, it's about getting the syllabus into your head.
anderson is srsly academic driven.

went to orchid park secondary just now.
to plan with the school about our service learning projects.
we're doing a bridging program for students weak in english language.
we're to be mentors/tutors and help them improve using various approaches of learning.
one method was reading obviously, and i enquired whether we're going to read to them.
since that's what i do with my sister, and it's become an innate reflex when i read.
i tend to start reading aloud before realising that my sister can't be bothered with 'deception point'.
anyway, the teacher we're liaising with, mrs rachel lee, thinks i look like the kind who's a storyteller.
does being a brother to a three year old seem so obvious.
she's not the first, i assure you.

the service learning project is making me feel HIGHLY excited.
kathy and i were saying that it's going to be an amazing feeling if we help them improve.
angela lai also said that it's our way of giving back to society.
terkming came up with a super great idea for our first lesson. (:
we totally rule.

there's cross country this friday.
but there's still lessons, pfffft.
trust aj to give us a mass run right after a school day.
3.4 km at 2pm.
i foresee people overheating like chocolates in a microwave and fainting.

if you're highly daft, they were in a tennis match.
it's the match known by most as the noisiest match in the whole of tennis history.
an article even said that sharapova sounds like a goose farting in a fog.
i was rolling on the floor laughing when i read it.
cause it's a highly accurate depiction of maria's grunts.
and for once, venus williams is wearing a decent looking outfit.
several years ago, in her prime years of tennis, she wore such skimpy outfits.
she totally looks like a prostitute then, no offence.
now now, before williams' lovers come bashing me, go check out her past outfits.

my dad said if those laces got caught on her racket during the match, the whole dress will just fall off.
turning it into a striptease match instead.

this saturday, nicole and i are pitting our game skills against metal slug5.
hopefully the psp training helped.

jazzy, chenyan and i were talking.
chenyan and i were saying that some people have the 'i'm attached, GET LOST' face.
we agreed that jazzy had that face, but she's in total denial about it.
similarly, christine and phoebe have that face.
laughs.
it's amazing how your conversation topics gear towards a special upcoming event.
in this case, it's v-day!
or in anderson's case (they don't want relationships among the students' populace you see), it's called friendship day!
so pointless.
students get attached, whether you like it or not.
