355; NS medical checkup

yesterday was not spent going to school, but to Central Manpower Base, CMPB.
for my medical check up for national service.
service was a little shocking cause some personnel was really rude.
oh well, they've been MOULDED to be like that.

anyway, we started with some IQ test.
basically it was doing sequencing of numbers and patterns plus some questions on law of physics.
it was pretty easy and doable so i doubt it's really an IQ test.
however, there were so many questions that my brain got fried towards the end.
i couldnt complete all of the questions by the time limit stated after that.

upon completion, we went to do our urine and blood test.
we were given this little plastic bottle and was told to urine into it and dip this strip of paper.. something like a litmus test.
xx was bloody hilarious.
we were told to fill all of it with urine,
so that the strip indicators could be completely immersed.
he pee-ed into the bottle till it was about a quarter full.
hence, he couldnt get the indicator in.
i laughed as his expression was retarded as he attempted to shove the strip in.

the blood test was interesting.
everyone looked away from the needle and the blood and each took about five minutes.
i looked fascinatedly at the blood and filled two test tubes with dark metallic red liquid in a mere minute or so.
doctor said that it's cause i exercise my arms a lot. =]
like wow, i didnt know that it helps speed up blood flow.

ear test was next and it's basically where you enter this soundproof cubicle.
short beeps of varying frequencies are emitted into this earphones.
you raise whichever hand corresponding to which ear that hears the sound.
i think i was being bullied cause the previous enlistees were raising their hands slowly.
however, the beeps i heard were going by so quickly.
i was like yanking my arms into the air as though i was experiencing a bad spasm.
now it was xx's turn to laugh his guts out at me.
but i doubt he saw my michelangelesque gait.

the chest xray left me feeling like an icicle.
the room was so bloody cold.
the machine was icy and i was mortified when i was told to press my chest against it.
i was topless, mind you.
the official told me to stop moving, but i barely heard him cause i was shivering and shaking pretty badly.
the radioactive symbols plastered all over the room didnt help me either.
i was picturing the nasty gamma-rays penetrating my body, licking at my insides..
LAUGHS! that was more sick than anything else.

did a dental check.
the dentist freaked me out cause he was going on about:
'one exploded, four and nine exploded. oh, and six is partially exploded.'
i was cursing myself cause i thought my teeth were decaying or something.
then, he peered into my face, gave a grin and said that i had healthy teeth!
that's a relief.
according to xx, 'exploded' is a medical shorthand describing formation of molars.

after that, it was 'meet-the-doctor' session.
we had to strip again and like remove our footwear and everything else.
did this electrocardiogram where they place some suction pads onto the region around your left nipple and it tracks your heart rate and whatever else.
left a nice moonshaped scar.
did height and weight, checked blood pressure, got a number and waited.
met the doctor who demands to see your dick. HAHAHAHAHA.
goes through your medical questionnaire and voila!
everything was done.

i don't know my PES yet since my x-ray for my wrist is pending review.
initially was placed into PES A.
which i felt pretty excited about, much to the shock of everyone around me.
everyone was like, 'he LIKES being in PES A?'.
but i'll find out the real PES when the letter comes by.
yeapyeap.

after that whole incident, we went down to bishan to have subway's.
had footlongs! (:
bloody sinful.
bloody nice, nonetheless.

then we went over to xx house to play maple and talk and catch up with everyone.
it was a nice time spent before i had to leave for astronomy.

astronomy was a little bit disappointing.
i didnt know my stuff very well, which led to the collapse of the whole presentation.
since i was the first speaker.
left astronomy earlier to drop by to see the harmoc and guitar combined concert.
shuqin, claire, nicole, zirui, belinda, lejun, benjamin all looked so smart and hot in their outfits of black tops and pants with blood red ties!
what's more, red and black's like my favourite colour combi.
mysterious and alluring! laughs.

after the concert, i dropped by the auditorium to meet yi and qi to go back together.
while waiting for them, i camwhored a little bit.
nicole was walking with yoketing.
i didnt notice yoketing at first.
when i realised it's her, i shouted her name.
she turned and we both started shouting and running and hugging.
goodness, it's been almost two years since i've last saw her.
then we took more pictures and yoketing manhandled this flower that nicole received.
hilarity at it's greatness.

quite an amazing day.

oooh, narnia: the caspian prince (?) is out and so it sex and the city!
wheee. i'm going to watch the former with butt and the latter with..
i aint sure who as of yet.
