margaret has totally influenced me with her obsession for cakes.
or desserts for that matter.
went out with my familiar to visit my grandfather in hospital.
coincidentally, it was at the hospital where i was first heard.
singapore general hospital.
before that we had lunch and i couldnt help but buy a strawberry cheesecake.
the exquisite taste sent me straight to the skies and back again! :D
i solemnly promise to work on my baking skills to reach that standard.
however, am pretty surprised that such a lacklustre cafe could sell such a bomb.
might visit it again, purely for the cakes!

ward was so depressing, i think i could hear a pin drop.
was pretty strange cause i saw this plagues with slanting coconut trees hanging at each bed.
turns out, it's a sign indicating that the patient has susceptibility to falls.
like omgeee, my mom and i were bitching about how they could use another picture.
it IS pretty humiliating.
point that i'm trying to make here is not about the ward's features.
it's about another patient, who's vein could not be detected by the nurse.
not once, not twice, but seven times.
mom took this opportunity to tell me to remember god from young,
so that he'll remember us when we're old.
grah, like i don't know that already.
i'm just uncertain, unsure and insecure and i wish i could talk to her about it.
but hell, she'd jump the gun and conclude that i'm turning atheist and we'd be embroiled in a n-th world war.
where n tends to infinity.

YESSSS!
application of mathematics to everyday life.
okay, i just told lynnette this and that woman took this golden chance to say;
'azri has fallen in love n times, where n tends to zero!'
BITCH SLAP!
it's not true; i just think that love is, to quote xinmin, a very strong word.
it's more of 'like'.

as of now, i'm craving for a social life.
like, i want to go out!
on the way home from singapore general, the bus passed through orchard.
i oooh-ed and aaah-ed at plaza singapura, cathay, tangs, wisma atria, taka and heeren.
... the haunts i used to frequent.
i used to be able to name shops off hand.
name the product, and i'll locate it for you.
recently, when i went to town with margaret for dinner,
i didnt even know what's at heeren.
that's baaaaad considering how i love the shops there.

dad and i started talking a bit today.
not bad for a start i suppose.

anyhooo, there's a wedding invitation tomorrow, which i'm not going for, cause i need to buckle down and do physics, which i loathe.
the funny thing is, it's at hyderabad road.
when my dad told me that, i burst out laughing and asked,
whether they're leaving for india tomorrow.
i thought it was a joke..
turns out, it's real alright.
off alexandra area.

singapore, singapore, no wonder you're a global city.
laughs.
