i realised that you can't exactly trust everyone you know.
cliche as it may sound, you can't judge a book by it's cover.
i'm seriously bad at being on guard.
always assuming that everyone is nice without questioning what lies beneath.
let's just say me and a friend found out that there's been a bitch in our midst.
who has been spreading discord with hopes that we'd drift apart.
that bitch would do well to know that her plans failed.
i'm glad that me and xx had a small heart to heart talk after mugging.
if not, we'd never known that she wanted us to have a conflict.
pffft, like honestly, what's the world coming to.

anyway, i don't know whether i've mentioned this before.
but a few weeks ago i tried baking chocolate chip cookies.
dear azri forgot that there's two temperature scales; celsius and fahrenheit.
he wondered why the cookies had to be baked at 375 degree celsius.
his oven could only manage 250 (strange, azri wonders) and he baked them at 250.
for fifteen minutes instead of ten.
thinking that the extra time will cover up the lack of heat.
needless to say, the cookies came out looking sickly brown.
plus, they were rock hard.
after getting a big knock from everyone around him,
he realised he erred, big time!

anyhooo, to reclaim my honour, i baked chocolate chip cookies another time.
did it yesterday.
completed the baking at 1am, by which i was shagged.
so i left two batches of cookies out in the open.
in the morning, they had this airy taste, (chinese call it 'lao hong').
but fifteen batches made it through.
i was so happy and went to bed with a big smile, amidst the headache from the sugar rush.
this morning, ran to the kitchen with a camera in hand,
but sadly, there was only ten cookies left.
aunts grabbed, cousins wolved, family took big handfuls.
poor haiguang and margaret, whom i promised to give a share only had three each.
everyone said it's really good.
sorry for sounding mildly ego, but i'm merely stating their comments.
i'm happy, yeah.

nigel, haiguang and margaret want more.
so i'll bake some again this coming weekend.
<3 baking.

the olympics gets me excited.
omg, the gymnasts are so talented!
plus, i can't help but notice the people from scandinavian countries like finland,
are drop-dead gorgeous.
blue eyes, blond hair, flawless skin, amazing smiles.
oh my, no wonder there's global warming.
i'm so itching to watch more volleyball matches.
i'm thankful that they're all on weekends.
which pretty much means that i can mug on weekdays in school without guilt.

nicole and i are ultra depressed that sharapova didnt turn up for the olympics.
maria sharapova injured her shoulder.
possibly from all the grunting and hazardous swinging.
doesnt the screaming take up energy?
i think she has too much pent up frustrations.
laughs, i'm so mean.
but i don't mean it; sharapova's my idol!

school tomorrow.
we must be strong.
persevere.
